About This Product
This Boyle's law apparatus gives a quantitative check of the law. The air sample is held in a glass tube of constant bore, so the length of the air column is directly proportional to its volume. Hydraulic oil seals the sample and partly fills a reservoir, so the pressure in the reservoir equals the pressure of the trapped air. The volume proportions method can also be used.
