About This Product
This CPAP system brings a CPAP generator, a humidifier and an air/oxygen mixer together on a wheeled pole mount with brakes. It is intended for normal, premature and low birthweight neonates and infants up to 5 kg who breathe spontaneously. The humidifier is an external electric heating chamber that works with heated and non-heated closed patient circuits, and the mixer is either a separate unit fed from medical air and oxygen inlets at 3.0 – 6.5 bar or an integrated compressor with an oxygen inlet. An alarm signals out-of-scale air and oxygen supply, and the built-in battery takes over automatically if mains power fails. The Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) is available for export to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zimbabwe, Uruguay, Liberia and Bulgaria.
