This external cardiotocograph records foetal heart rate on two ultrasound channels and uterine contractions on one pressure-sensitive channel, and twin signals are shown separately. It recognises transducers automatically, has dedicated slots for them, an Automatic Foetal Movement feature and a wired remote switch for marking events. The built-in printer prints continuously, in real time or on demand on graduated paper with separate areas and scales for FHR1, FHR2 and UC, and the unit stores patient information and exams internally.
